Leigh's work can been seen in a group show at ZieherSmith Gallery in New York through June 11 along with the work of Kate Gilmore, Jess Fuller and Joy Curtis. Her work was presented in a one person show at Gallery 16 in San Francisco in 2008, and has appeared in Harper's magazine. Works are included in the Viewing Program at The Drawing Center in New York, the White Columns artist registry and the flat files at Pierogi in Brooklyn.
Leigh Wells was born in Oakland, California, and currently lives and works in San Francisco. She holds a BFA summa cum laude from University of San Francisco, with further study at the San Francisco Art Institute, Crown Point Press and Parsons/New School in New York.
